- Attendance:
- It is mandatory that every student must have at least 75% attendance, both in theory and practical, in order to appear in the exams, both in sessional and final.
- 10% attendance may be granted on medical ground provided the student has all medical documents.
- 5% attendance may be granted by the concern subject teacher if wish to do so.
- Application for leave due to any reason must be submitted to the college authority in advance unless emergency.
- In case unforeseen absence, leave application must be submitted within TWO (2) days of class rejoining.
- However, submission of leave application does not guarantee approval of leave.
- Uniform:
- All students must come to the college with full, proper and neat uniform for all the days of the week unless specified.
- Neat and clean laboratory coat/apron is mandatory for all practical.
- Applying of nail polish, wearing inappropriate accessories, jewelleries and clothing is prohibited.
- Examination:
- Three (3) exams will be conducted by the institute within one (1) academic year, out of which the average of the best two will be taken as the internal assessment mark, which will subsidize the final pass mark.
- It is mandatory to have at least 40% marks in the internal assessment to appear for the final examination.
- Duly signed practical journal record book is mandatory to appear for final practical examination.
- The final theory examination will be conducted by the Higher and Technical Department, Govt. of Mizoram.
- Mode of Conduct:
- All students must have a good mode of conduct. All form of mass bunking is strictly prohibited.
- Smoking, drinking alcohol and any other form of abusive materials are prohibited in the college and the college premises.
- Uses of abusive words are prohibited in the college.
- Using of cell phones during class hours is strictly prohibited. If found, the cell phone will be confiscated.
- All students must respect the staff and faculty of the institute.
- Any students found violating the mode of conduct will result in disciplinary action which may even result in suspension or expulsion from the college.
- Fees:
- Fees once paid will not be refunded.
- All fees must be cleared before clearance of the course.
- Fees may be paid all at once or in installment.
- Internship / Practical Training:
- It is mandatory for every student to undergo practical training/internship for a period of not less than 500 hours spread over a period of not less than 3 months in various hospitals and dispensaries.
- Only those students who have cleared their academic examinations are eligible for the intership.
- Placement of the internship will be done on the merit list of the academic performance, giving preferences to the regular students than the repeaters.
- Anti-Ragging:
- Ragging is strictly prohibited in the institute.
- Anti-ragging committee is formed with students’ representative to avoid ragging.
- Student’s ID:
- Individual student’s ID will be availed for each student from the college.
- In an unlikely event that the student cannot continue the course, the student ID must be surrendered to the institute.
- Breakage of Properties:
- Great care must be taken to maintain the institution’s properties including the laboratory equipment and library books.
- Any breakage or loss must be replaced with the same material or the original cost plus half the original cost in cash must be paid to the institute. Failure to do so will result in deduction from the caution money.
- Extra Curriculum:
- Other extra curriculum apart from the studies like sports, retreat, community services, social works, seminars etc., are likely to happen during the academic sessions.
- All students are expected to have full participation and co-operation in all the activities.
- Convocations:
- It is mandatory for every student who had cleared all the examinations and internship to attend the convocation service organized by the institution.
- All the necessary documents will be handed out during the convocation only.
- The institution is not responsible for any drug license or supervision.
